Employee Spotlight: Drew Berghane

We’re excited to introduce Drew Berghane, who has recently joined Risman Insurance! As a new member of our team, Drew focuses on bringing in net new commercial business. Although he’s only been with us for a little over a month, he’s already making a great impression.

What inspired you to pursue a career in the insurance industry?
Drew is drawn to the insurance field because of its recurring business model and the ability to help a wide range of clients. He values relationships and believes that his strong relationship-building skills will help him succeed in his insurance career. Before entering the insurance industry, he spent over a decade in sales and as a sales director in the cybersecurity sector.

What do you enjoy most about your role at Risman Insurance?
Drew has enjoyed collaborating with his colleagues and finds the work culture at Risman to be welcoming and supportive. He had a blast at the summer outing and is looking forward to getting to know everyone better.

What skills do you bring to your new role?
Drew brings a wealth of experience in selling technology solutions, which he believes will translate well to his role in insurance. He’s eager to apply his knowledge while also diving into the aspects of the insurance industry that he has yet to learn.

How has Risman Insurance supported your professional development?
Drew appreciates the comprehensive training he has received during his first few weeks, which has given him a solid foundation to start finding new business.

What are some of your hobbies or interests outside of work?
An avid golfer, Drew enjoys spending time with his family and is passionate about watching and playing sports.

What are your future career goals at Risman Insurance?
Drew’s primary goal is to bring in significant new business to the company. He’s enthusiastic about his future here and committed to growing within the organization.
